RIP Mum... love you always

In the early hours of Monday 15th August 2011, my mum peacefully passed away in her sleep. My mother hasn't been well for a long time, and I've been her full-time carer during these years. Despite her poor health, she was always happy, smiling and full of fun. In her younger days, she was a champion for animals... working with mistreated dogs and horses and nurse them back to health. She also won many show jumping competitions as well... and her rosettes and prizes from these will always be treasured by me.

Mums funeral will take place this coming Friday, the 26th of August. If you are reading this, I would ask that you play a song by Elvis Presley, whom my mother loved very much. The funeral will start at 2.15 pm, and if you could please play a song during this time to give my dear mum the send off that she not only deserves, but would love very much.

Rest in peace mum... I'm sorry I wasn't there to say goodbye, or to protect you like I've always promised I would. Thank you for not only being my mum, but also my best friend. Someone recently told me that every cloud has a ray of sunshine... well you were MY ray of sunshine. God bless, my little Momma Soul... you're with your mum, dad and brother now, as well as Ralco, Miranda, Meg and Harriet. I'll always love you and treasure the memories of your wonderful smile.
